"Web! Pound time!"
silence.
"WEB!!!!!!!!"
Web rolled over and groaned. She didn't want to go! Not yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
It may sound like Web is being forced to be donated to the pound. This is not so.
Web's owner is Redpanda321. Redpanda321 is has a very strong case of pound-itis, a rare condition where she LOVE LOVE LOVES going to the pound!! And so at any time the pound is open, Redpanda321 hurries over to look at and adopt pets.
This includes early mornings when her Butterfly Wolf, Web, is tired and does not want to get up.
Web knew she had to go. She groggily got to her paws and plodded down the stairs.
Equipped with bagels, Redpanda321 was waiting for her. "Come on!" she urged. "You need exercise."
This did not motivate her pet. Web responded with a sound that was a cross between a chick's chirp, a dolphin's click, and an elephant's trumpet. It can only be written as
"CBLAARRRPCLIKFWEECHIPBLOOOORP!!!!!!!!!!"
Web sighed and fluttered her wings in an attempt to fly, but fell to the floor. How was she expected to fly when she felt like a bag of cement?
Redpanda321 waited impatiently as Web kept trying to fly. But eventually Web managed a steady glide, and she followed her owner out the door.
