I had a cat,
who thought she was all that.
Her name was Candy,
I must admit, she wasn't very handy.
She'd worry about her hair,
and her dental care.
Now I think to this day,
Why did I name her Candy?
She'd play with the other cats,
then leave them for her mats.
She'd play with the dogs,
then she'd call them hogs.
I told her to go home,
but all she did was groan.
She stayed with the Chicken Smoothie staff,
and played around with them as I laughed.
She crossed the bridge to go see Pumpkin P.I.,
then she skipped that and went to Honey, oh my.
She went over to visit E. Clair,
but then came out with a chair.
That crazy cat, might I say,
she was running around all day.
When we got home she went to the couch,
Then she crawled into my pouch.
I got her out with something sweet,
A gummy bear flavored treat.
As I watched her do some tricks,
I knew she was my cat that no one could fix.
Part two of the event submissions! Our only submission for the Candy event this year (got any of your own? Submit it, we'd love to read them and put them up!). It's a fun poem by Amethyst Night (#733501)! Thanks for the submission :)

Since the Summer Event just finished up, thought it'd be a a good idea to put up a couple of event submissions! Here's a throwback to last year's Egypt event- a very good poem by Piefan (#530548), definitely an interesting theory about some of the pets! Underneath the desert sun, |
