Christmas 2008, an albino rat was released.
Keep that in mind.
A kind user had been gifting away pets, smiling at the others being so joyful. In fact, some were even gifting back! He didn't really know how to react, so he accepted with 'Thank you so much!'
Two minutes later, he found another trade.
Huh.
The images weren't loading.
Either way, he accepted at the sight of '2008'. How wonderful! What could it be? A Sunback? Moonswirl? Black Eyed Galaxy? Oh, he was getting overexcited.
Finally, they loaded.
A rat.
A white rat.
With red eyes.
He was absolutely infuriated, his gifts of kindness rewarded with this...thing?! He despised rats, especially albinos. Yet something about it kept him from deleting the pet. Calming down, he sighed and began dressing it up. Might as well make 'em pretty before trading it off. But...something already had him attached.
Two years later, the pet sat in a group named 'Albino Beauties'. A horde of the rats, the original pet named 'Thank you so much!'
