Oh, great Tess can you see?
By the Totoro's early flight.
What so proudly we hailed
at the smoothies last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright spots
thru the perilous flight,
O'er the banners we watched
were so gallantly glistening?
But the Admins red glare,
the Bans bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night
that our website was still there.
Oh, Tess does that CS green
banner yet wave.
O'er the land of the green
and the home of the great.

I walked quietly along the corridors of my endless rats. They slept in cages, and some were running about my feet. Jupiter was on my shoulder, Tiger on the other. I carried on walking along, dropping treats, and then stopped. A small, grey rat was looking up at me hopefully.

"I want to go on an adventure!" he whispered.

"An adventure?" I gasped, staring at the fragile rodent. His name was Sammy. The runt of his litter.

"Yes!" he grinned, eyes shining. "I like it here, but I have never really fitted in.. Besides, I want to go out an explore, meet new pets and new people!" I raised my eyebrow at this. Jupiter leapt down from my shoulder, carefully followed by dear old Tiger.

"You sure? The world's a dangerous place, y'know.." Jupiter whispered.

"I'm not afraid!" Sammy piped, sticking his chin out. "What is there to be scared of?"

Tiger sighed and squeaked, "It's sad to say..But..Some people don't care for rats like us. We're very lucky we've got Sheep here and not somebody else. Some people don't care for rats whatsoever, only caring about dogs and lions. They abandon the rats, which are left unwanted... Hungry..Lonely...Cold... Yet their dogs are enjoying themselves with lush sofas and carpets, delicious food and constant attention."

Sammy looked a little panicked, but stayed cool. "I want to help all those rats!" he decided. I sighed. I wouldn't be able to change Sammy's mind.

"Pound?" I said. Sammy nodded. I picked him up and kissed him on his head for the one last time.

Hesitating as she heard a slight clattering from inside the house, Avian frowned. No one should be home - Tess was out with Nick and had left some jobs for her and Totoro to complete for her. The thought made Avian sigh again - it was her birthday yet everyone seemed to forget. There was no presents this morning, just a note asking for Avian to pick up some art Tess had ordered.

Shaking her melancholy thoughts away, Avian padded inside. She looked around to make sure that it was her imagination that had thought up the clattering but as she entered the living room, fursona's, pets and people jumped up; all cheering 'Happy birthday!' Avian was shocked then realised it was a surprise party and before her was Totoro, Tess and Nick along with all the staff and her friends. Piles of presents filled the room and the smell of a barbecue made Avian prick her ears. She smiled from ear to ear, "This is the best Birthday ever!"
