Here's a short story about Tess and her bird companion, Totoro (renamed Toronto in this fic!) by frozenlover113.
Tess and Toronto flew and walked along the rocks on the eastern isle on the shore of the beach. As they walked ( and flew ) on the rocks the waves splashed against the rocks. Tess's dragon appeared and brushed the water with her talons. As she huffed, her breath rose up he waves so they splashed against Tess's face. She licked the salt off and continued walking on the rocks. As they walked on together on the rocks out of the blue appeared the magnificent queen herself Cleopatra. Being her cat-like self she curled up in Tess's lap. The threaded eye of which Cleopatra appeared from that marked the skies for second then unraveled into a mere black thread of the cold night. As they walked on, a shadow emitted. The shadow also had came from the blue, out of nothingness. Then a bat appeared and played with Toronto.
Tess's goggles clogged by the fog that had instantly rolled in as soon as the sun popped back up. It began to snow and a Lion with a stripped candy cane fur fluttering with fresh white powder. The mane had colored tinsel hanging down. The Lion with a full toothy smile joined their little band. Tess and the other found a warm area. As Tess slept with her dear Toronto they snow had stopped the next morning.
