It must also be said that she didn't actually get into the Pound after it closed. xD

I rushed to the pound, staring at the giant digital clock which read, 'The pound will open in: Less than a minute". There was already a huge crowd by the door, counting down the remaining seconds.
"5! 4! 3! 2! 1!"
I rushed in, barely breathing in the huge swarm coming in. The staff there seemed a bit prepared, but not by enough. The swarm was overwhelming and I could barely make it to the cages. The cages were stuffed with pets of all shapes and sizes. I knew I had to hurry, or else I wouldn't be able to get a pet at all.
I look around and see everybody grabbing the cutest or the nicest pet, since you can't see the rarities. I skimmed through the rows of pets, and finally decided on a little chubby cat. It was borned with the Peter Pan Syndrome, so it was going to stay like that forever. I gently patted its head and put it into my bag. I went to the long line for check out while patting my cat's head.
When I finally made it to the check-out center, I saw that the staff looked exhausted. "Don't worry about it," she said, reassuring me, "This is one of our less busy nights." I nodded my head and put my cat on the table of check-up. They inspected it, and gave me some extra food. "Good luck with him!"
I placed my pet down into the room I purposely made for new pets. I checked the profile card he came with and smiled. An uncommon wasn't too bad! I picked him up and played him for a little while. I fed him some food, and went to my other pets to go feed them as well. When I came back, he was completely frozen. I rushed to him, and tried to see what was wrong. Was he sick?
I pulled out the emergency guide book and flipped through the 673 pages. Nothing on your pet just freezing. I put a blanket on him and stayed with him for the rest of the night. I had a horrible dream that my pet was going to have to go to a different owner because I made him freeze.
When I woke up, it was morning, and the sun was burning my eyes. I turned to my pet and saw it was gone. I desperately looked around and wondered if my horrible dream has come true. But just when I was giving up hope, I heard a meow. I looked up and saw my cat on the bookshelf. I think it was my cat. It was grown up though. I picked him up and saw that it was him, but he still techincally had the Peter Pan Syndrome.
I raced back to the pound and banged on the door. "OPEN!!!!!!!" The door swang open and I saw an employee. "Umm, I'm sorry, but we are closed, we have opened in the last day, but we are closed now. We open at random times, but we are closed now. Please come back later!" She started to close the door, but I held it open.
"No, there is a problem with my cat!" I handed her my cat and she looked it over. "Interesting... I'll be right back." I was waiting outside for about an hour, and the door opened again. "Well, I guess we were so tired last night, we made a mistake in the system! It turns out that this is a old pet, but we messed up it's age, and made it years younger."
I looked at the profile card of my cat and saw it was an OMGSORARE from 2008! I saw that my cat was smiling, and I was just glad it was OK.
