In addition to poems, Frostlight also sent in a Pound story. c:
We all waited outside the Pound watching our watches. When it was 10 seconds before it opened everybody screamed, "10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" On one everybody slammed open the door rushing in as the speed of a zebra. I didn't rush in, I just walked peacefully staring around. A few seconds later everybody had grabbed a pet. I saw a rusty and old cage at the end of the pound, I raced to it. And what was inside? A beautiful wolf! I opened the cage and picked her up softly. After we made it home I gave her perfect food and water to drink, I forgot to give her a name, and so I had the perfect name, "Noahki," One day, ever so cold. Noahki was strange looking, she was only pink but had a yellow nose. Someone had stole Noahki! I raced to the staff's room rushing towards Nick, "My pet has been stolen! Noahki!" I yelled in terror, "Interesting, well we did find a person who was holding a beautifully colored wolf," Answered Nick, "That must be Noahki!" I raced down the streets of Chickensmoothie but she was nowhere to be found. I turned around seeing Noahki wandering trying to find home! I raced to Noahki to bring her home, "I'll never loose you again!"
