This is a cute short pound story by rejected furry (#655116), doesn't it just make you "awwww"? :) 

A player steps into the Chickensmoothie pound. She carefully, but quickly checks over the cages, and finds a beautiful creature. a young butterfly wolf sits curled up in a cage, her small, thin wings cover her fearful face.
The player sticks her finger through the cage and carefully strokes the fur on the butterfly wolf's head. It looks up at the player with hopeful eyes.
as the player touches the lock on the cage with a small key, the small creature bounces up with eagerness. she yips happily as the player brings her home.

The butterfly wolf, now named Skipper, still lives on in rejected furry's group of favorite pets.
